| SpamJammer is a radical countermeasure to the scourge of spam (unsolicited commercial e-mail). The goal is to reduce spam by choking off spammers` sources of income. Be aware that this consumes computing and network resources not only of spammers` sponsors but possibly also other web sites hosted on the same internet service providers (ISPs). On a positive note, higher network traffic to a spammer`s site may prompt an ISP to remove it or increase its hosting fee. For these reasons, we suggest keeping an eye on your jamming panel and halt or `crank back` your jamming speed when you notice that `clicks` aren`t getting through. |
