The Microsoft Reference Architecture for Commerce is designed to accelerate the development of e-commerce solutions for medium to large businesses by providing reusable and customizable components. The Reference Architecture preview release includes architectural overview information, preview code, code documentation, and complete instructions for setting up a development workstation. This reference solution is based on the Microsoft Windows 2000 Server operating system, Microsoft Commerce Server 2000, and Microsoft SQL Server 2000. The Technology Preview includes reusable code components, Active Server Page (ASP) scripts, Extensible Style Language (XSL) stylesheets, and an installable e-commerce retail Web site with a sample user interface and catalog.
