| Multimodal Browser and Toolkit is a technology that allows the development and execution of multimodal applications written to the W3C Acknowledged Submission called XHTML+Voice (X+V). The Multimodal Browser was developed in a strategic relationship with Opera Software ASA and consists of the Opera Browser enhanced with extensions that include IBM`s automatic speech recognition and text-to-speech technology. The Multimodal Toolkit is based on the Eclipse framework and the Voice Toolkit 3.1, with added plug-ins to support the X+V editor. The editors and utilities in the toolkit, presented in an integrated development environment, make it an efficient way to develop multimodal applications. |
